PersianFootballCenter - Iran has been drawn in Group B of WC2010 final round qualifiers and will face South Korea, North Korea, Saudi Arabia and UAE, Group A consists of Australia, Japan, Bahrain, Uzbekistan and Qatar.  It should be noted that North and South Korea are officially still at war, Iran and Saudi Arabia are two major political and military rivals in the Persian Gulf region, Group B without a doubt is the group of death.

Iran to play FC Charlton Athletic

MNA - Iranian soccer team is scheduled to play England’s Charlton Athletic on July 20.  Iran has previously advanced to the final round of the 2010 World Cup qualification and is preparing itself for taking part in the West Asian Soccer Tournament to be held in Tehran from August 7 to 16.
