PTV - Iran’s national soccer team is scheduled to play a friendly match against China at the Azadi Stadium in the Iranian capital Tehran. The match will kick off at 3:00 pm local time on Friday, January 9.
Iran, currently in slot 43 of the FIFA ranking, is hosting a number of friendlies in preparation for face downs with tough Asian rivals in Group B of the qualifying round.
Iran will play its fourth match in the 2010 World Cup qualifiers against South Korea on February 11.
An online FIFA poll suggested on Wednesday, that Iran manager Ali Daei was among the most impressive coaches in 2008.
Daei’s squad will also clash with Singapore in the AFC Asian Cup 2011 qualifier on January 14 in Tehran.
