Terrible news for Mes     They lost 2-1 away but one was an own goal and another penalty. They are unlikely to progress as their next game is at home against Al Hilal who are group leaders. We should hope Al Hilal beat Al Sadd today and then Al Sadd lose to Al Ahli of UAE while Mes eithe draws or wins Al Hilal.

Too many ifs and buts so I think it is safe to say Mes are out.

It was a gallant performance from a small provincial club, we are still proud of their achievements.
