I think Ando shall decide soon...
playing or sitting on the bench
he can be starter in any Iranian team
he can be starter in any team in the PERSIAN GULF area
he shall go back
time to go home
ANDO

I heard Perspolise wants him badly and he is interested as well

English style football does not suit our players.  They have done much better in Germany and Spain.

Fulham Midfielder Andranik Teymourian Determined To Stay In Europe

GOAL - Fulham midfielder Andranik Teymourian has said he won’t be the next in an increasing line of Iranian footballers returning to their homeland, insisting he intends to stay in Europe.

“I am determined to stay in Europe and I don’t want to return to Iran,” he is quoted as saying by Iran Sports Press.

The former Bolton midfielder is out of favour at Craven Cottage and is yet to make a single Premier League appearance for Fulham this season.

“Gaffer Roy Hodgson prefers to use the other players at Fulham and I can't stay at Craven Cottage. I am sure I am going to have bright days in European football."

The 26-year-old was heavily linked with a move away from London in the winter transfer window but admitted a lack of interest in his services.

“I wanted to join another team in the winter break but I didn’t receive a good offer,” he said.

Finally, the Iranian international revealed he was looking forward to the 2011 Asian Cup and tipped Team Meli to prevail over Thailand.

“We have already qualified for the 2011 Asian Cup and will play Thailand without any pressure. I believe that Iran is even able to claim the title of the 2011 Asian Cup championship,” he concluded.

Frankly speaking, I would rather sit on the bench in England than have a first team place in Iran, don't forget players like Teymourian that sit on the bench play in reserve matches, and even reserve matches in England are better run and more valuable than league matches in Iran.  Is there anything in Iran he would want to go back to?

But I agree, England does not suit our players, I would say apart from Germany our players should aim for Italy, Spain and Portugal.

I fully agree with afshin..even on the bench in european football is far better than playing in IRAN.... but one thing need to be analyzed is the lack of professionalism by lot of IRANIAN players...except Kia and Nekonam which really worked hard on themselves and improve themselves year by year in europe, lot of other iranian players with huge potentials  like Azizi or Karimi, just were lazzy or busy with accusing others and searching for excuses, instead of hard work.... this is not only a problem with iranian players....I have observed this here in past even with some iranian students, if they aren't succesfull than some of them start accusing teachers of being racist and keep hanging around instead of hard working...... I think IRANIAN sport talents should really learn that succes doesn't rain from sky for free... it needs hard work and focus on goals.... so my advises to all future IRANIAN football talents which want to come to Europe to play a high level football:

A) don't talk too much, but work hard
B) don't search for excuses, try to improve your own weakness
C) always listen to what your coaches tell you and don't start unnecessary fight with coach or club managment
D)on the field behave professional
E)work on your fitness and don't let yourself go...it is ok to enjoy some tasty persian food, but always control your weight and keep in good shape with fitness
F)think about all the iranian fans which support you and give always your best to make them proud

players like Kia or Nekonam proved that it is possible to be succesfull in Europe!!!!

Kia, Nekounam, Hashemian and Daei were very successful.

Azizi was lasy and too ful of himself. Karimi was a squad player which meant he was included in European and cup games and the occasional league games if there were injuries, but he did not work hard to impress to be considered more frequently for the league. His skills were also not suited for the German style of play except when they played Eastern or Southern European teams in European matches.

Ando has been very good but England is full of midfielders and so it is difficult to break into the team. His style is suited to England as he is not a dribbler but I think he should go to a lower division like last year and work hard to get promoted with them. He was given some chance in Bolton and did well but after Allardyce left, he was ignored. He should not have gone to Fulham.

I agree with ali_europe, Kia, Nekunam but also Daei and Hashemian as mentioned by BWTB were hard workers and professional, that's how they succeeded, otherwise Azizi and Karimi were more gifted players than the named four.  Karimi and Azizi were like Maradona, they had a gifted talent that was given to them at birth, but they failed to fulfil their potentials and went for an easy life.

if you want a country for Iranians to play well and be successfull...spain for sure.
Maybe Italy on the 2nd hand...but Germany will not work well....
Forget about Kia....he was fast...he played one touch game
and he was young
I played in Germany and their mentality is 360 degrees different from us...very hard to paly.
I Played center mid or forward and everytime I dribbled one player or did a LAIE,,,,khorake almanie ha laie bood Wink, then the coach was yelling from outside....pas...pas..paas...
I tried to make him understand that when a player comes to, I will dribble and his answer was, PASS BEFORE HE COMES TO U...lol
Look at hashemieyan....he had 1 good season with Bochum,,,that's it,,,
even daie...he did not play much
Yet Kia..he was super star..they called him MOOSHAK....since he was fast...

As for Teymouriyan,,,,I don't know about reserve games and so on,,,,but I read in one of his interview,,,he hates not being able to play and just practice practice and practice...
I figured it out that he is not playing anything..
I don't know what level you guys played,,,,but for a player to sit on the bench and watch...is the worst enemy...u will loose it...take a look at him now...honost to god, in 2006 when he played for ABOUMOSLEM, he was a better player than now after 4 years in ENGLAND..
don't u agree?
If 2nd leage is soooooo much better than IPL, how come he is going down hill?
IPL might be a joke
might be a lower level than europe
might be so many things...
but for sure....getting better.
8 years ago, we did not even have a plan, we did not know when fifa days are ...we were tired in asian games,,,,but now
weekly plan is there,,,teams know when they play, whom they play and when they r off...
we improved a lot.....
as much as I hate to give credit to MOLA MOHAMMADI,,,,but at least he got smarter

dashali jaan

I for one am tired of non-stop setbacks and failures in Iran football, at club and national level, look at the players that return to Iran; mainly when they are about to retire or they are past their sellby date (e.g. Rezaei), even when our clubs buy foreign players (Brazilian etc), they are 4th rated players, when was the last time we won anything in Asia at club or national level (forget Asian Olympics, I mean Team Melli or ACL).

Players on the bench England get match practice in reserve games, they don't just practice and sit on the bench, competition is fearce, so you have to impress in the reserves before you get a chance in the first team.  I somehow doubt we'll see any more Iranian players coming to Europe, we did not qualify for WC2010, that's where players are noticed, and when I watch Team Melli matches Nekunam is the only player that would impress an European coach looking for players.
