Aluminium Hormozgan 0 - Perspolis 3 (2 Bagheri, 1 Khalili)
first half was okay, second half very poor game by Perspolis.  With weak teams, WHY not play young and inexperienced players?

Aluminium Hormozgan 1 - Perspolis 3
Perspolis played a poor game in the second half.

Why Esteghlal and Perspolis use their main players for not important games?  I read some where that Aluminium Hormozgan did not have enough money to stay in a decent hotel. Embarrassed

Why all the money goes to Esteghlal and Perspolis?  Why Huh?

Persian jan,

There are a few issues here that need to be addresses.

1) PP and ESES play young and fringe players to give them some experience and the result goes against them. Can you imagine the fallout? There will be riots and the manager and chairmen will probably get the sack. Do you think Iranian people are both civilised enough and understanding enough or long sighted enough to look at the bigger picture? Persian jan, you KNOW the general Iranian mentality, so I think you will know these teams cannot risk anything like that.

2) Money to clubs: As much as I would like to see all clubs privatised and stand on their own feet, the reality is that there is very little support for any other team besides the big 2. It has taken almost 20 years and even still Zob and Sepahan cannot muster more than 10,000 supporters. What chance do you think the likes of Pegah or Etka of Gorgan have, not to mention the likes of cutear of Lorestan. These clubs will fold overnight. It would be money thrown at something that would not be feasible in a free sports environment.

3) I forgot the third point lol  Embarrassed

Look at our winter olympic atheletes, they had to pay for their own clothes etc and the poor skier was forced to wear a roosari under her helmet. Have you ever seen such mozakhraf? This is the mentality of the country and no matter what we would like to think of our heritage, this is the reality.

An exciting game between Esteel Azin and Esteghlal (Taj). Cheesy Cheesy
Esteel Azin 4 - Esteghlal 4 during 90 + 4 minutes
Game went to extra time Esteel Azin 5 - Esteghlal 4
The game was full of events.  Mahdavi-kia played very well.  He should play for Team Melli, at least partially.
Goals for Esteel Azin: Omranzadeh (own goal), Mahdavi-kia, Kabi, Ali-Karimi (penalty), and in extra time: Noorozi
Goals for Esteghlal: Majedi, Akbarpour, Omranzadeh, Jonvario
