Most important we should not be hoodwinked by IRI apologists, MKO agents and fascists who come into these forums to spew their poison.
You talk about democracy but democracy as described by you. Democracy is a non event and a meaningless word used by dictatators and future murderers to gain power and implement their evil and nefarious schemes. Tell me what is the meaning of democracy? eh? WHAT? Can you describe it? Can you define it? The word itself is by definition contradictory.
You talk of the evils of the West yet you live in Western Europe, take all their benefits and call them names. You call west all the names you can think of in various forums but try and advance a western imposed system on Iran.
if I criticize WEST, it doesn't mean that I would say every person in WEST is an evil.. I mean we IRANIANS also criticize Shah or IRI, but those bad governmetns don't mean all IRANIANS would be bad.... what I'm accusing are those part of WESTERN society specially USA, UK and some other NATO countries who want to control the recources of the world including oil and gas, by again and again influencing the development in our region.....there never was any iranian troops invading USA or UK...but those nations specially USA and UK again and again influence political developments in third world to prevent democracy in third world, cuz they know a real democracy in third world would mean that population of third world countries would decide about oil, gas, steel, gold etc and not any corrupted king or army general and their american supporters.... I mean just look around and you'll see USA, UK etc.. again and again were responsible for government changes in third world...IRAN 1953, chile 1973, etc... are just few examples....
the fact I moved to WEST has different reasons(education, and later founding a family here etc....and by the way I live in Switzerland, which isn't even a NATO coutnry) but as an IRANIAN who observes IRAN and international politics for long time, I just want to warn about dangers of potential mistakes...I'm very proud and excited about the new energy and fresh views of young IRANIANS who impressing the world by their fight for democracy in IRAN today, but at same time I want to warn the young people to keep their eyes open and not repeat mistakes which happened in 1953 and 1979.... both times in early 1950's and during 1979 IRAN was extremly close to change to a democratic modern county, but each time evil forces weather from inside or from outside destroyed the democracy.......
with global changes and growing importance of ASIA and potential cooperation between Europe and Asia, countries like China, India, Russia, IRAN or Turkey will have key positions and challenge the american global domination, thats why USA and UK want to do every thing to prevent strong nations in EUROASIA ......
of course americans know they can't invade IRAN with troops, but they have lot of tricks which could create troubles...creating devision among IRANIANS or financing separatist groups or supporting some pro WESTERN elements among IRANIANS like royalists etc.... combination of american strategies could have a bad impact on the movements....that's why the green movement should of course continue their fight against IRI's dictatorship but at same time being carefull about any changes in american strategy.....
as I said before we must learn from our histroy...each time IRANIANS wanted democracy and freedom, but each time there was a big disapointment because the movements went to wrong direction or people gave up to fast to defend their rights..... that's why today our eyes must be fully open to not get tricked again
