Osasuna beat Sporting Gijon 1-0 with a goal by our very own MASOUD SHOJAEE in the 54th minute  Grin  Nekou was yellow carded in that match  Smiley

Way to go Masoud, well done  Smiley

Osasuna are upto 11th place with 15 points, one place and one point behind local rivals Athletic de Bilbao.

Both Nekounam and Shojaee have scored 2 goals a piece this season.

In yesterday's game Osasuna demolished highly placed Espanyol 4-0 with 2 goals by Nekounam and a pass by Shojaei that resulted in a gola by Manuel Lolo.  Smiley

The new coach used both Iranian players in his first game in charge. It seems he has got himself a winning combination.

Osasuna won away at Malaga 1-0. The goal was scored in the 90th minute and Nekounam was booked, also in the 90th minute

Thanks Branko for the update.  The new coach has found the right combination and our two players are doing well.  It is good for our football, more of our players will be encourage to go to Europe.

Osasuna won their local derby against Racing Santander 3-1 with Nekounam scoring the second gola in the 24th minute and being yellow carded in the 90th. Osasuna have now moved up to 12th by winning their last 2 games.
