Saeed Jaan, good to hear from you 'the old warrier'.

We should have won Asia 2007, we had our strongest squad ever, a lot stronger than what GHotbi has today, but you know how Ghalenoei screwed up.

I do not see Iran as a favourite to win Asia 2011.  I think it will be between Australia, Japan and South Korea to win it, they have WC2010 experience under their belt, they have money, resources, professionalism, strong management and good planning.  We are up against it and this is not Ghotbi's fault.  We are relying on passion and self sacrifice, and perhaps a bit of luck to win the cup in the manner Iraq won it in 2007.

In any case, coach has a role, but our players are no good.  I hope Dejghah plays for us.  For a long time, we have "reed" in Football in Asia.

Don't forget Kuwait.  They won West Asian cup by beating us, then last week, they Won Persian (Gulf) cup by beating Malk-koors of Saudi Arabia.
