No change for Iran, still 66 Embarrassed
I remember, around 1998-99, Iran was ranked 17 Smiley

I am surprised at Egypt being ranked # 9 Huh?  Team Melli is not in its best shape but Aremeina, Batswana Grin, Cuba, ahead of Iran Huh?

Dear Persian, Iran was ranked 15th in the world under Branko when we qualified for WC2006 outright.  But in 1998/99 we weren't as high as 17th, I think we were 29th.

Afshin jaan;  thanks for clarification.

I remember ranking of #15 was for one time which is very short time.

Our players who are paid a lot do not play with "gherat."  IFF gets a lot of money from government.  This money should be divided among other sports.  Enough of football getting all or most of the money and TV coverage.
