Good to see the arrogant BBC have used the correct name of Persian Gulf in this article, see the first paragraph:

Afshin jan,

They normally do that and then a few hours later after the Arabs have objected, they change it to 'Gulf'.  Check it tomorrow and see if it's still the same unless it was a straight quote from someone, then they'd leave it as it was quoted.

I'll keep an eye on this article and see whether they'll change the name, maybe this is a way for BBC to make money, they use the correct name of Persian Gulf, they some arab dude sends them a £100,000 gift, and the article gets amended.
