You have to hand it to Ghotbi, he has built a new team, had Ghotbi been appointed as Team Melli head coach rather than DAei, then he would have taken Iran to WC2010, I am sure of it now.

Iran have done far better than I expected, we now have as good a chance as any team to win Asia 2010 but it won't be easy, it won't be easy for anyone.

You have to hand it to Ghotbi, he knows how to analyse the opposition and always gets the better results in the second half.
