Everyone knows my thoughts and beliefs about how IRI  puke controls IFF and TM, and we have seen how on numerous occasions TM has underperformed by officials deliberatly using tactics to ensure the collapse of the team. The idea being to cause unhappiness and depression amongs the population to prevent them coming out into the streets and celebrating Iran's achievements as those celebrations could and would most definitely turn into anti IRI demonstrations.

Now we have seen Iran do very well and top its group and are one of the favourites to atleast progress to the semis, but my question is will IRI and their agents within IFF and TM camp allow the team to play to their potential and get to the final?

I don't believe the IRI thugs  stink   puke will allow this to happen but am happy to discuss and read other people's points of view.

I think Ghotbi is there to win, he is leaving Iran and Team Melli after Asia 2011, so I doubt if he would get involved in giving matches away deliberately.  As for the players, things have changed in Iran, we saw Team Melli players wearing green wristbands in WC2010 Qualifier against South Korea, they tried their best to win that match but were ill-prepared thanks to all the infighting that took place beforehand.  I think our players are there to win also.  Based on what I have seen so far I would say that if Iran don't win Asia 2011 then it will be due to losing to a strong team on the day or having a bad day.

In Asia 2007 with Mullah Ghalenoei in charge, Team Melli were without a doubt controlled by IRI and Ghalenoei made sure Iran would not win Asia 2007.  I remember Ghalenoei played our players in very strange areas, like Zandi in full-back or left Kaebi out, he didn't want Iran to win and made sure of it with his tactics and no game plans.
