WAFF tournament will be held in Tehran from 7th to 15th August. Countries taking part are:
Bahrain
Iraq
Jordan
Lebanon
Palestine
Qatar
Syria

So we meet our old 'friends' Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan and Syria again depending on the draw. Atleast this will come after the camp in Spain and the game with Egypt and Cameroon so it should provide good experience for the players.

Talk about the deluge after the drought. For a year no friendlies or anything and now a whole lot of games. I suspect this is Daei's influence so it seems he has been a force for the good. I am sure once he has the team that he wants (with no Vafoori  Wink  ), Iran after its friendlies will be in a good position for the final round of the Asian Qualifiers.

well done Daei
