MNA - Iranian soccer team is scheduled to play England’s Charlton Athletic on July 20.  Iran has previously advanced to the final round of the 2010 World Cup qualification and is preparing itself for taking part in the West Asian Soccer Tournament to be held in Tehran from August 7 to 16.

The team will face Charlton Athletic in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium on July 20.

Ali Daei’s side will fly to Prague, capital of Czech republic, on July 22 to hold a one week preparatory camp. Iran will play Bohemians and Slavia Prague in the camp.

Iran was drawn in Group B of the 2010 World Cup qualification with the two Koreas, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Prague? What happened to Spain?

What is Charlton doing in Iran? Do they think they can promote themselves there and sell some shirts maybe? Or are they going there to apologise to Bagheri?
