Goal - - During his official presentation as an Osasuna player in Tajonar, Masoud Shojaei affirmed that he is looking forward to testing his strengths in La Liga.
The Iranian midfielder confessed that he is “very excited” to have joined Osasuna, and to be able to have the opportunity to play in what he considers to be “one of the best leagues in the world”.
Shojaei, 24, who penned a three-year deal with Osasuna, was presented to the club’s fans by Juan Pascual (vice-president) and Juan Jose Lorenzo (sporting director) in Tajonar on Monday.
During his official presentation Shojaei affirmed that he is “very excited about having arrived here” and he is looking forward to his latest challenge.
The former Al-Sharjah star told the press that since his compatriot Javad Nekounam arrived at Osasuna in 2006 the club have “become very popular in Iran”.
“Neko has always spoken to me very highly about the club, of the dressing room, and the fans,” affirmed the player, who believes that “for Nekounam to be here is a great help”.
The attacking midfielder insists that he is a workaholic and that this, along with the support of Nekonaum, will help his adaptation.
