AFC  TEHRAN – Pierre Littbarski made a losing start to his spell as Saipa coach on Monday with the ACL quarter-finalists losing 1-0 to Persepolis in the opening match of the 2008/09 Iran league.

The reigning Iranian champions scored the only goal of the game two minutes from the interval courtesy of Pejman Nouri’s long-range effort.

Littbarski, who was named Saipa coach at the end of July to fill the void created by Ali Daei’s appointment as Iran national team manager, will be hoping the Karaj-based outfit find their form before the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League in September.

Saipa will host Uzbek side Kuruvchi – who have recently announced they are changing their name to Bunyodkor – in the first leg of their last eight meeting on September 17, with the return fixture in Tashkent one week later.

I loved Hossein Kaabi....now I have no respect for the kid and I think soon or later he will go down the toilet...
what he said about Qotbi and so on.... not only so IMMATURE and CHILDISH but also shows that Kaabi is not only SMALL in height but also has a very small BRAIN....  Shocked
I wonder what will he do, when Daei is FIRED from the job and Qotbi is the new HEAD COACH...lool
That I want to know...

LitBarski won't go any place with this team....I will give him less than 5 weeks....

he said...Qotbi is not a good choice for PP and won't do well...
also, after the game when a reporter ON TV, asked him why he left PP and if Daei was the influence factor, he replied," Saipa has CLASS," which the reporter immediately said, so you mean PP does not have CLASS???  Shocked then he said....oh...words just came out....
and when he was asked why he did not bring any flower to the PP's bench....he said, 1st of all we did not arrange it 2nd of all, I would have taken it to KHORDBIEN and not Qotbi...
what a loser
this is not the first time that KAEBI talked badly about his past coach, he did it to Beghovic, Foulad's coach and other coaches as well....even in England, he complained about the coach...
let see what he says about LIT BARSKIE later on.... right now, he has CLASS...lol

I just want to see if one day Daei leaves TM and Qotbi is the head, what he will do??

Also, on a personal note, I know this for sure that when Mobali, Alavi, Kamelimofrad and Kaebi from Foulad were in TM, they all had issues with Daei and few had almost a fist fight in practices... but right now.....he says SAIPA and DAEI have more CLASS....

no baby, they paid you more....you wanted more money and Qotbi didn't want to give it to you.
Also, if you remember, last year Qotbi said to him once....at least play better and show you worth the money you get....I think he got close to 10 million toman a game.....where he was red carded and yellow carded few times, just to recall it...

shame on players like Kaebi....and I am sure he will have a bad time in AZADI after his recent interview....PP fans won't forget these words....
