Iranian weightlifter bags silver

PTV - Iranian weightlifter Ali Hosseini has won a silver medal to become the sixth Iranian medalist at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games.

Hosseini grabbed the silver in the -67.5 kg category when he lifted 215 kg weight on Saturday.

The Egyptian weightlifter bagged the gold with 217.5 kg and the Chinese athlete took the bronze with 200 kg.

So far, the Iranian Paralympic delegation has snatched one gold, four silver and one bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games.

Over 4,000 athletes from 150 countries are taking part in the 13th Paralympic Games September 6-17 in Beijing.
