Iran's sitting volleyball team has stormed into the final of the 2008 Beijing Paralympics and will go up against Bosnia in the fight for gold.

The seemingly unstoppable Iranian national squad advanced to the final after defeating Russia in three consecutive sets (25-22, 25-13 and 25-20) on Friday.

In the other semifinal clash, Egypt lost 3-0 to Bosnia. The Iranian squad will now face Bosnia in the final at 6:00 pm local time on Monday.

Russia and Egypt will compete for the bronze medal on the same day.

Sitting volleyball squads from Iran, Bosnia, Brazil, China, Egypt, Iraq, Japan and Russia have taken part in the 2008 Beijing Paralympics Games.

The Iranian outfit has won the Paralympics gold in sitting volleyball four times since 1988.
