MNA - The former Al-Nasr coach is likely to replace Afshin Peyrovani in Persepolis football club.

Some well-known coaches including, Fatih Terim, Afshin Ghotbi, Senol Gunes and Branko Ivankovic are possible candidates to take charge of the Tehran-based team although Persepolis officials have played down these names.

Bonacic has already headed several Iranian teams, namely Foolad, Esteghlal of Ahvaz and Sepahan.

The 53-year old is known as a coach who doesn’t like officials of clubs to decide which players will be in the starting eleven.

On a few occasions the Croat has left the clubs when presidents have tried to force him regarding which players must play in the team.

Would be good for Persepolis, so long as they let Bonacic do his work
