Today's game match officials are all from Qatar with the refereee assessor being from Saudi. Lets hope they do not favour Thailand.

I don't understand how this man arranges his formations. He is playing at home already qualified and against a weak opposition (theoretically) and he plays with one lone striker who is not even a striker but a midfielder. In effect he had 6 midfield players running around. What is he thinking of? Don't we have any strikers in Iran? If that is so then now only can the FOOLS appreciate Daei. Everyone blamed Daei for not giving up his position in TM so others could not play. Who did we have? Mr Vafoori Enayati? And he was the biggest load of shit Iran has ever produced.

If it was not for an 88th minute goal by Nekounam, I am certain this world class coach would have been sacked. Well, maybe not since he is an Ahmadinejad supporter, but he should have been sacked.

Only Nekou came to his rescue unfortunately.

poor performance and result for Iran, 1-0 against Thailand in Tehran is poor, but the performance was even worse, Iran will get no where in Asian Cup finals next year.
