I watched the game.I t was surprising to see that their stadium was not full.  Sepahan played good but had many poor finishes.  They could have scored more goals.

Sepahan 2 – Al-Shabab 0 (Goals in minutes 2 by Jafarpoor and 93 by Armando)
Oladi plays in this team, he did not play today due to injury.
Big mistake to buy and use Khatibi.  He is not a good player anymore.

Hef...hef ke Sepahan khoob jolo raft...
they could have been on top without any problem. The results of the other game could have made Sepahan for sure a team to go to 2nd round....but they could not hold the 1-0 winning...too bad.

I shall say, this group is very tough now...as you see...all teams have 3 points....it is tough now

Sepahan drew away 2-2 with Bunyodkor. Good result even though Bunyodkor is at the bottom of the table. Atleast today our teams won

This group will be very hard to know till last game.

3 8 Apr 2009  18:00
BUNYODKOR (UZB) - SEPAHAN (IRN) JAR Stadium  2-2

We did not get to see the first 15 minutes because of overlap with PP game.

It was a good game.  Sepahan played a decent football, they did not convert their chances, so now they must play smart to advance.

BUNYODKOR (UZB) - SEPAHAN (IRN) in Isfahan 1 - 0
Sepahan players looked tired and did not play well.  The good news is that Mahmoud Karimi played for about ten minutes and the team became cohesive.

Sepahan lost to Al Shabab 2-1. They are also out of ACL as they have no hope of coming second.

Today Sepahan beat Al-Ettifaq 3-0.

Babi in minute 2, Asghari in minute 52 and Aziz zadeh in minute 81 were the scorers.

Too late for them unfortunately  Sad

If the other game between Bunikdoe and Shabab is a draw, Bunykdor will go through. If Al Shabab win, they go through. So there is no chance for Sepahan. See my above post

Branko jaan; Papi scored the first goal. Cheesy

Sepahan missed several more chances and players are not careful.  I wish Khatibi does not play in important games.

I am sorry to read that GN will coach Sepahan next season.  This goes to show that Mafia style management or system runs our football. Embarrassed
