I have no idea how true this is but according to IRNA, daei has been sacked and possibly Mayli Kohan is going to replace him.

If true then everything that we had hoped for, everything that he had tried to achieve has been destroyed in accordance to the plans of IRI.

If true, then I will have to say goodbye to Iranian football and everything Iranian as ISLAMOFASCISM has now taken over the whole of Iranian society. The ONLY way ut is a mass revolution like what happened in Romania, where the ISLAMIC republic leadership should be EXTERMINATED like the poisonous insects that they are.

The only man that could stand up to them has been destroyed with the help of collaborators in TM camp.

Ali Daei Sacked As Iran Coach Following Saudi Arabia Loss

The 40-year old has been dismissed following a poor run of results that has left Iran struggling to qualify for World Cup 2010 in South Africa...
29 Mar 2009 11:54:52

Ali Daei has been fired as coach of the Iranian national team following their 2-1 loss to Saudi Arabia in yesterday's crucial 2010 World Cup Qualifier.

Iran's conceded two late goals in the match, and the defeat leaves them struggling to qualify in fourth place in Group Two with just six points from five games.

Iran's official state agency, IRNA reports that the Iranian Football Federation (IFF) felt they could not ignore the pressure from both media and fans.

IRNA stated from an unconfirmed source, "Ali Daei was sacked from coaching the national team as a response to people's demands for his negligence in fulfilling his duty and the teams' poor results in World Cup qualifiers."

Almost 100,000 fans were at the stadium and many demanded Daei’s head in the closing minutes of the match as the visitors came from behind to snatch a late win.

After the match, Daei, who was appointed in March 2008, had said he would not resign.

“It is not your place to tell me to stay or leave,” he told reporters. “I was appointed by another entity and I am here to stay for now.”

The former Bayern Munich striker seemed to place the blame for the loss at the feet of his players.

“It was not Ali Daei who lost the match but the national team. We (the coaching staff) had given our plan to the players but when the players don’t execute there is not much I could do.”

“After we scored, we didn’t want to back off from attacking but the team leaders failed. I can’t go in the middle of the field and play…I can only direct.”

The record international goalscorer for Iran has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect, and with their next qualifier in June the Iranian Football Federation have enough time to find a replacement.

It is as yet unclear if German assistant Erich Rutemoller will step into the breach or if the IFF will turn to someone like Afshin Ghotbi who was interviewed for the position before Daei.

From Press TV

Iran gives Ali Daei the boot
Sun, 29 Mar 2009 10:31:57 GMT

Iran's national soccer coach Ali Daei has been sacked after a poor performance by the Iranian squad in the World Cup qualifiers.

"Ali Daei has been dismissed in response to the people's demand as the coach did not fulfill his duties," an informed source told IRNA Sunday.

Iran suffered a humiliating 2-1 defeat against Saudi Arabia in its fifth World Cup qualifier at Tehran's Azadi Stadium in the presence of about 100,000 fans on Saturday.

Critics claim the former Iranian soccer player refused to take responsibility for the home defeat.

"It was not Ali Daei who was defeated today; it was Iran's national soccer team which was [defeated]," he told reporters after the match, while offering his apologies for the poor performance.

Daei had said on Friday that the Iranian national team would definitely beat the Saudi squad in the crucial 2010 World Cup qualifier.

Boasting that 100,000 fans would attend the match at the cost of Saudi morale, Daei had assured that the Saudis would leave Tehran's Azadi Stadium empty-handed.

Hahahahaha
Hahahahaha
hahahahaha

I always said we are an Arab controlled country with an Arab mentality.

Hahahahahaha

Now just like ALL Arab countries who sack their coach for losing a game, we have done the same. All the vatanforoosh and traitorous Arab supporters and the descendants of Arab invaders who raped, pillaged and destroyed our culture have again shown their true anti Iranian colours andf hatred of everything Iranian by destroying another Iranian legend.

A well planned and executed procedure has ensured that Iran is again pushed towards the dark ages of 1400 years ago by the Islamofascist Mafia and their supporters and their excrement smelling conspirators within TM. Again they have succeeded and ALL those anti Iranian posters within all the Perisan sports forums that had called for Daei's head have had their blood lust fulfilled. Since these Islamofascist supporters have no answer other than destruction, I would like to see what will they do now? Who will they bringback? I suppose MK or GN whose hatred of anything non Islamic will be a perfect choice. Why should they play football when they can go to Haj and Omreh. After all it was well planned for Iran to lose to Saudi since Islamofascisms originated from that country and they are the lords of the blood sucking traitors controlling the Iranian nation.

The only way for Iran to progeress is a revolution resulting in the mass extermination of these servants and instruments of 1400 years of foreign occupation and imposition.

No true Iranian will ever support the forced conversion and enslavement of the Iranian nation. Only those who subscribe to this foreign philosophy are the ones who are happy to see Iran and Iranian nation once again destroyed and trampled.
